Jeda Villa is amazing. Their driver was waiting for us at the airport, and made it very convenient to get there. And when we did, our jaws dropped — it looked even more amazing in person than it did in the photos. I just didn’t want to leave the pool, except of course to eat the wonderful meals that the cooks prepared for us. In fact, all of the staff were super helpful and charming. They suggested activities, booked tours, and really made us feel at home. The owners seem to treat the staff really well. The location is in a part of Bali that’s a little bit off the beaten path, not quite as packed with tourists as the rest of the island. But there was definitely no lack of things to do; we saw several incredible temples, went snorkeling with Sea Rovers, went dolphin watching, and got massages at the Spa in the Matahari resort.
