Luxurious and vast! This villa was over the top on many levels. We spent 3 nights here and it was hard to come up with any reason that we should go to town or do nearby activities – we truly wanted to savor every moment we had at Jeda. There were so many different chairs, lounge seats, couches that we could move around to each day with a good book or a cup of coffee. Everything except for the bedroom is outdoors which gives a sense of being in nature … We loved sharing the space with little geckos and lizards. Great views of the ocean and the grounds are kept up well. We had 2 dinners cooked for us at the villa which were delicious and spent one evening at Frangipani (also a great choice). It’s an easy 10 minute walk to town and the beach but Selemat will also drive you down. The town itself is very small and very dive/snorkeling oriented. It’s a bit of a trek to get up there (about 4 hours from Ubud) but totally worth it. This was an awesome spot for unwinding, relaxing, and escaping the busy tourist spots in the rest of Bali.
